In 2006, Lenyer, Grayson, and I went out into the woods behind our home and buried a time capsule. We used Grayson's Spiderman lock-box that had a lock and key, even though we didn't use the lock or the key. Anyway, inside the box was some nut shells, a rock that was shiny, two feathers, and an old Sweet Tarts Pocket Tin that held the white crystal ( which is just a clear, shiny rock ). We buried it behind our neighbors house, but shortly after re-buried it behind our house. And the years went by and we forgot where we buried the time capsule that held our childhood treasures. We searched high and low for our box, but we never found it. Last November when the news came that they would be cutting down the trees in the woods we frantically tried to find it. And again were disappointed. Nobody could agree on where we thought we had buried it. We gave up as we watched the woods behind our home became a mud field. On Saturday night Grayson and Myself were practicing shooting our bows. Well I thought I had a great idea, but instead my idea ended up putting my arrow among the tree limbs and mud in the "woods". So Grayson went to get a flashlight while I started hunting around where I thought it had gone. And I look down and saw a small piece of blue. I thought it was a plastic bottle and bent down to pick it up. It wouldn't move, so I started moving the dirt around the blue object. And, to my surprise, a dirty spiderman was appearing. With rising excitement, I hurriedly removed the object. And yes, it was our lost treasure. It was badly smushed by the machines but other then that it seemed to be pretty much intact. With excitement, I yelled to Grayson who was returning with the flashlight. He ran towards me and we both were looking over it with glee. We ran back up to the house where we got Lenyer to open it up with us. We examined the contents, and decided we needed to document this momentous event in our lives. Here is a few pictures that we took of the TIME CAPSULE.
